My name is Tommy Fässberg and I have been working at FlexLink in Sweden since August 2016. I work as Simulation Engineer and my focus area is developing components for the FlexLink Design Tool and simulation projects. I have several years of experience in the field of virtual manufacturing, covering different industries and areas. My favorite area is discrete event simulation since you have to dig into the details of how a system works and there is always something that can be perfected. How simulation and visualization of production flows can help customers design better systems and improve performance is always worth preaching. I find it very interesting and rewarding to be a part of the development of tools and functionality that hopefully makes life easier for our end users. In my spare time, I am a fulltime struggler with the puzzle called life. But I prefer to spend my time with friends and family.
